DIY: Updated Flawless Clear Skin
Hey guys. I have tried many different experiments to see which one works the best to get clear flawless skin.
What you have to do is:
- At the end of the day, take off all the make up. And leave your skin WITHOUT anything on your face at all. Not even a moisturiser. Just leave your skin off of products for an hour each day.
- You could be doing your homework or your chores or anything in that hour.
- Then after an hour, apply a toner first and then a moisturiser. Massage your skin with the moisturiser for 2 mins and then you are back to your daily routine. You can leave it like that overnight and You will wake up to beautiful, flawless skin.

DIY: Pure Sea Salt Facial Toner
Toners are huge part of skin care routines. I know I haven’t mentioned this in my Skin Care Routine for Acne Prone Skin but that is because I just found out about this stuff from YouTube.
So I gave it a try and here is my Personal Response:
Why Sea Salt is Good for Skin:
- It is a Natural Exfoliator and that is why you find it in many spa products.
- It is a Stress Reducer. Greeks and Romans both used warm seawater as a therapy to help people relax. This is now called Talassotherapy. It has psychological benefits and improves the quality of sleep.
- Sea salt is a natural detoxifier because the salt absorbs the toxins from the skin.
- Sea Salt are pure which means they haven’t been much processed as table salt.

Acne Products Review
Clearasil Rapid Action Treatment Cream
I bought this product a few days ago and I have only tried it twice. It does dry out the spot but it also dries out my skin soooo much that it becomes flaky. I would only recommend this product with oily skin and the ones with get severe acne.
Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash
I loved this face wash in the beginning. It did reduce the amount of sebum and white heads but it also slightly dried out my skin. I would give it 3 stars.
Body shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Face Wash
This is the ONLY face wash which didn’t dry out my skin and worked amazingly on reducing acne. It didn’t clear all the pimples but it helped. I would recommend this for people with normal. combination and dry skin types.
Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser
I haven’t tried out this product. But i have heard a LOT of people recommending this product to people with dry skin and with acne. They say it doesn’t dry out skin and it also help reduce redness and pimples. I will definitely try this and will let you guys know.
Take Care.
DIY: Preventing White Heads
Hey guys! I haven’t blogged a post for a while because I had exams and I did so bad in some subjects 🙁
Oh well, lets get on the point. So this is my personal experience and so far it has worked the best.
I was reading skincare by Selena Gomez and there she mentioned it is really important to use toners and that’s where I got the idea of preventing white heads so thanks to her. I never gave importance to toners but now I REALLY do recommend everyone to use it.
My skin is naturally oily so I really need to slow down the production of sebum. Sebum is the main cause of white heads. People with dry skin can use it too because this natural toner doesn’t dry out your skin as long as you use a moisturiser with it too.
All you need is:
Pure Organic Rosewater
I use Atlantic Aromatics Rosewater Spray from Health Store.
Rosewater is a natural skin toner. It doesn’t dry out your skin AND it prevents sebum production. Now that’s really amazing because the toners in drug stores can really dry out your skin and strip the moisture off, which is worse.
After washing your face, use a cotton ball to apply toner and wait for 2 mins to let it soak in your skin. Then apply your moisturiser and you are ready to go.
Now I don’t get clogged pores with sebum and I don’t need to use those nose strips as well.
This also helps in preventing acne as it stops the excess sebum production.
I have only used it for like a week and I can already see the huge difference.
Let me know about your experience guys. Take Care.
DIY: 2 in 1 Facial Mask for Acne Prone Skin
Nowadays I hear this a lot “I never get time” or “I barely get time to sit down myself” and so on… If you are one of these people who doesn’t have time at all you should definitely try this mask. I use it every other day to cleanse, moisturise and prevent the acne. Well my acne is GONE now so thank god. But I also want to help you guys out and let you know how I got rid of it…
- I am sure these are in your kitchen.
- Now for oily acne skin, use very low fat yoghurt.
- For dry acne skin, use full fat or at least with 10% fat yoghurt.
- First of all, make sure you don’t have any make up on. Check out my blog post on DIY: Make-Up Removers For Any Skin Type.
- Then wash your face with warm water so it can open up the pores.
- And finally, mix the ingredients and apply on your face. I apply it with a brush but you can do it anyway you want.
- Please check before hand if you are allergic to cinnamon or not by testing a small amount on the back of your hand
- This mask doesn’t dry out my skin in winter.
- It got rid of those small acne on my face and it prevents them too.
- My skin has that healthy glow now.
- It cleanses my skin so it looks fresh everyday.
DIY: Get The Flawless Skin Like Models
I have read lots of magazines and articles that said “If you want flawless spot-free skin then try not to drink milk.” So I experimented it. I haven’t drank milk for 2 weeks now.
DIY: Make those pores invisible
This trick doesn’t make them go away completely but it definitely makes them smaller temporarily.
All you need is:
1. Aloe Vera Gel
I use an Indian moisturiser Vicco Turmeric Cream. It makes my skin tone lighter.
- So after you take a shower/wash your face, take the aloe vera gel and apply it as a moisturizer.
- It tightens your skin and pores as well making them appear smaller.
- Then take your moisturiser and apply it on after 2 mins so the aloe gel soaks in well. After 2 more mins you will notice your pores looking smaller.
- You can then apply make up too.
- Its the best tip I have personally experienced.
You guys should definitely try it out and aloe gel also keeps your skin even toned. It prevents acne and basically its REALLY good for your skin.
Let me know your experience 🙂 Take Care.
DIY: Lighten your skin tone
Ok so I just came back from India (I was on holidays). So I haven’t really posted any posts lately.
But anyways… When I was there last time, one of my cousins had reaaaallllyyyy fair skin.
But when I went this time, her skin tone was darker.
So I asked her and she said “It was my wedding last year so everyday I used aloe vera to lighten my skin tone.” I asked further more and she actually kept aloe vera plants in her house to use it freshly.
Now we can’t do that if we don’t have time but you can buy the 99% pure aloe vera gel from pharmacies/drugstores. They never sell 100% pure because they have to add preservatives in to keep them long lasting.
So if you want lighter skin tone, get the aloe vera gel and apply it every single day and massage it into your skin for atleast 2 mins. Massage it on your face and neck. Because you don’t want your face whiter than your neck. It looks unnatural and NOT attractive at all. I am going to try this too.
This is actually recommended in Ayurvedic (Ancient Indian beauty secrets) and ALL the treatments for any problems from head to toe, works for everyone. They are all natural as well. Please let me know about your experience 🙂 Take care
DIY: 4 Ways to use Green Tea for Clear Skin
Green tea is really good for skin and hair. I have a blog-post on how you can use green tea to prevent hair loss. Click HERE to check it out. Green tea has anti-oxidants, anti-aging and anti-inflammatory properties which helps your skin to glow, look healthier and younger.
So here are 3 tips on how you can use green tea for skin:
1) Make Green Tea Ice Cubes to Get Rid of Redness
Fill a cup of warm water and put a green tea bag. Let the tea bag soak in for 5mins then take it off. Now put the green tea in an ice cube tray and put it in freezer overnight. Next morning take an ice and rub it on where you have red skin/pimples in circular motions. Then wash your face with warm to cold water and you are ready to go.
2) Exfoliating with green tea and sugar.
Brew some green tea and when it is warm, take 1 tbsp of green tea to half tbsp of sugar. Mix them in a bowl but don’t let sugar melt. Before that happens, exfoliate your skin in circular motions and there you have a clear skin free from dead skin cells.
3) You can simply use cold brewed green tea as a facial rinse.
So when you wake up, wash your face with any facial wash you use. Then take the green tea and rinse your face with it. Pat your face dry and you are ready to go. This will make your skin glow throughout the day and won’t look flaky or dull.
4) Using Green tea as a sun protection.
In summer or sunny days, pour some green tea in a spray bottle. Spray the green tea all over your body and then apply sunscreen lotion. Green tea protects skin from sun damage and UV rays. So your skin won’t burn and won’t get wrinkly skin before the age.
P.S. Don’t forget the neck area when you are using above tips. Or else you might end up with uneven skin tone 🙂
And whenever you use brewed green tea, make sure its NOT hot and warm enough or cold to rinse your face.
Take care
