Do you ever feel satisfied when you buy an eyeshadow palette for only $25 and the quality is just as good as the Sephora ones? Because that’s what makes me feel like I spent my dollaaas well! Plus when you spend most of your money on food.. you can’t just walk in Sephora and buy whatever you want. Sometimes a girl just can’t pass by an Asian takeaway and keep walking.
Anyway so here are my TOP 7 eyeshadow palettes that are super affordable and cheap. They are really pigmented, blendable and cheap! If you want to see them in action or want to see some swatches, click on the “See it in action” link below each palette.
All my friends and family have recently started to notice how AMAZING my skin has transformed lately.. and they’ve all been asking me how I did it.. So I thought rather than telling only my family and friends, I want to tell everyone.
If you guys know me from the beginning.. you know that when I started this blog, its sole purpose was to help anyone who is suffering from acne. I would share all my little secrets, what products helped and what didn’t help. So along the journey, I’ve found this ONEPRODUCT that took care of ALL my skin care problems including acne, clogged pores and enlarged pores. Yes.. it has managed to significantly REDUCE the size of my pores.
Here’s the product reveal and my full review so keep on reading.. (more…)
Kylie lip kits have AMAZING quality! But of course some people can’t afford buying them. And drugstore brands are coming up with really competitive lip products especially NYX and Colourpop. So here are some great dupes for all her lip kits, glosses and metals.
I’ve tried this product for more than a month now and I think it’s one of the best ampoules/serums I’ve tried so far. Although I am only 21 and I don’t have any wrinkles, I recently experienced extremely dry and dehydrated skin. This serum was like a fountain of youth in a bottle for me. It really hydrates my skin from a cellular level.
I use it after cleansing and applying toner in my daytime and nighttime skin care routine. (more…)
I was on a hunt for a really effective Vitamin C serum on the market that can fade away some acne scars and add some life to my skin. This product is RAVED by thousands of customers and it was on sale so of course I took an advantage of the sale. It’s on sale 90% of the time by the way.
It’s 99.95% natural and cruelty free as well. And I used up the entire bottle so here’s my review. (more…)
I’ve heard about this product SO many times that I had to buy it and try it out myself. I’ve done all my research behind this product since you guys know that I only use natural and safe products on my skin. So I had to make sure if this is natural and effective. So here’s my review…
(This is not a sponsored post. I’ve bought this product with my own money and this is my 100% honest opinion).
If you guys read that post you’d know the star ingredient is the Aztec Secret India Healing Clay which is 100% natural calcium bentonite clay. I’ve LOVED this clay mask ever since I tried it.
So in this video I am showing you 2 MASKS. One for sensitive skin and the other for non-sensitive skin.
I use the second one because my skin is pretty tough and oily so I need clay masks in my routine.
Benefits of clay masks:
Tightens pores permanently overtime
Gets rid of blemishes / acne pretty fast
Deep cleanses pores and pulls all the impurities out
They actually recommend you to use the clay with apple cider vinegar (ACV) but you guys know I CANNOT stand the smell of ACV so instead I use witch hazel and it works just as well for me. And if my skin is acting reaaaally bad then I also add 2 drops of tea tree oil which is a natural anti-bacterial and acne fighter.
(I live in Toronto and I buy Dickinson’s witch hazel from Walmart for around $5. Only the yellow bottle is 100% natural and alcohol free so buy the YELLOW one.)
This mask combo literally gets rid of 70% of the blemishes OVERNIGHT.
If you have sensitive skin use the first mask with yoghurt and if you think your skin can handle a little more.. then you can use the second mask.
If your skin is really dry and not so sensitive I’d definitely suggest you to use the tea tree oil.
So you can experiment use whatever combination that works for your skin type and let me know how it works out for you xx
Here’s a confession.. I am a drugstore JUNKIE.. I literally want to try every single product in the drugstores because I love finding DUPES for high end makeup.. so I like to test and compare if you know what I mean. I hope I am not the only one here.
Of course I’ll be doing more of these videos in future as I discover more products but for now this is my hit list. All products mentioned are listed below including my CULT favorite of them all which I’ve been using for YEARS. If you like the video please Subscribe, share and thumbs it up <3
On the left side I put my highlighter on normally with a brush. And on the right side I put the highlighter on with some tips tricks to get the max glow out of it.
1) Always use a highlighter that is gold based. I used MUA’s Undress Your Skin Shimmer Highlighter in ‘Iridescent Gold’. It is an exact dupe of Nar’s ‘Albatross’ highlighter. It has very fine gold shimmer in it and looks really natural yet glowy. I swatched it for you guys below 🙂
I promise it’s not white like it looks in the photo below. It has a very fine gold glow to it. The camera doesn’t do the justice 🙁
2) Spray your brush with Mac fix+ or any other setting spray. This will make a huge difference because it will intensify the glow without looking oily. I NEVER apply highlighter without spraying my brush with Mac Fix+. Even professional makeup artists swear by this trick!
3) Use a cream highlighter and then set it with a powder highlighter. This will prevent your cheeks from looking cakey.. even though you’re applying two highlighters. This is because they creams always give a nice, smooth base for the powders. So this will actually give you a natural and intense glow. As a cream highlighter I used Seventeen’s Instant Glow Skin Wow Tan.
Use all the steps above to rocks those cheekbones and work the glow! I always get compliments on how my skin looks healthy.. but in reality I just know how to get that glow on 😉
Hope you girls like this tutorial and let me know if you want more of the makeup tutorials or keep to it the natural DIY stuff xx
