WHAT IT CLAIMS TO DO
This product claims to treat blackheads, enlarged pores, uneven skin texture, redness and wrinkles. And it can be used by all skin types including oily, dry, combination, mature and sensitive. It is the #1 best-selling exfoliant around the world.
It gently and evenly removes the built-up layers of dead skin but also increases hydration, skin smoothness, and radiance. And this brand is CRUELTY FREE for all you vegans out there <3
WHY DOES IT WORK SO EFFECTIVELY?
This products works because it has 2% BHA (Beta hydroxy acids) which is salicylic acid. And I’ve tried hundreds of products with salicylic acid so why this one? Because this one is also NON-IRRITANT.
If you have problematic skin, the last thing you want to do is irritate it any further. This product is fragrance free, dye free, it contains green tea extract and the pH of this product is 3.2 – 3.8. You can read this article on why the pH of our skin is really important to diminish acne. So no it will NOT dry out your skin until you can’t even open your mouth. Although I do suggest applying a moisturizer on top just because it is a chemical exfoliant after all.
This product comes in liquid, gel and lotion form.. all of which absorb into the skin quite well. It doesn’t just sit on top of the skin. Personally, I prefer the liquid form just because it’s quicker to work with and I find it more hydrating. Although I haven’t tried the lotion form.
I started seeing results only in 2 WEEKS of using it. Although for some people, when they started using it their skin became worse in the beginning and then it got dramatically clear within a week. This may happen to you if you have acne beneath the layers of skin. The product will bring all that acne on the surface and then diminish it for good. So don’t freak out.. just give it at least a month and be consistent. I used it on every 3rd day in the first week. In the second week I used it every other day. Although now that my skin is completely clear I use it only once or twice a week.
HOW TO USE?
“Apply once or twice daily after cleansing and toning. Lightly soak a cotton pad and apply over the entire face, including the eye area (avoid the lower lash line and eyelids). Do not rinse. For daytime, follow with a broad-spectrum sunscreen rated SPF 25 or greater”
You can build your own 100% NATURAL SKIN CARE REGIME based on your skin type and incorporate this product into that regime.
