DIY 100% Natural & Targeted Daily Skin Care Products

100% Natural and clean skin care products can be difficult to find especially if you have problematic skin. And if we do find some products.. they tend to be expensive.

I am the queen of DIYs when it comes to skin care. So whatever your skin type is whether it’s oily, dry or acne prone here are some great DIYs for every skin type you might need on a daily basis. For example, cleanser, toner, facial moisturizer and also body skin care products.

I used to have really bad acne, pimples and scars.. until I went ‘au natural’ with my whole skincare routine. Ever since then I haven’t turned back and my skin has never been better. Now I rarely get any pimples and if I get any scars, they disappear in less than A WEEK.

Harsh ingredients such as methylparaben and propylene glycol are really common in skin care products these days. If you’re acne prone or sensitive, these ingredients can make your skin worse. And if you have normal skin, they can cause pre-mature aging in the long run. And we always want to keep our skin wrinkle-free for as long as we can.

So ditch your current skin care products and go on a journey of natural skin care with me.. Trust me they will transform your skin and you won’t go back..

OILY SKIN

1. Cleanser – Honey & Lavender face wash.

The castille soap in this DIY removes extra oil and grime on the face while honey re-balances the pH of our skin.

2. Toner – Witch Hazel

I have used witch hazel RELIGIOUSLY when my skin was super oily. It helped keep the oils and the pH of my skin in control. It also helps with those pimples by keeping the acne-causing bacteria away which is a BONUS.

I use Dickinson’s Original Witch Hazel Toner from iHerb.

3. Moisturizer – Hemp & Aloe Moisturizer

Hemp is a dry oil and it’s non-comedogenic so it will not clog your pores. Jojoba oil is VERY similar to our natural skin oils so it actually tells our skin not to produce any more oils. I hope that makes sense!

Aloe helps with any acne, scars or irritation. So this moisturizer is the ultimate moisturizer for oily skin.

4. Mask – Green Clay Face Mask

Clay masks really detoxifies oily skin and draws all the impurities out including blackheads and whiteheads. If you have SUPER oily skin, use this mask twice a week and it’ll eventually control the oil production.

DRY SKIN

1. Cleanser:

I really suggest oil cleansing method for those with acne prone AND dry skin.

However if you’re put off by oils (which you totally shouldn’t be) here’s another option: Gentle facial cleanser based on Lush’s “Angels on Bare Skin”. The almonds and rose water hydrate skin while the clay deeply cleanses skin from any impurities.

2. Toner

Rose water is a great toner for dry skin. It’s hydrating and calms any irritation or redness. I love Heritage Store’s Rose Water. I have used it before and I love the way it sprays a fine mist of rose water. And it’s 100% natural.
